I had a really scary dream about my jaw surgery last night!! I dreamt that I'd just had the surgery and everything was good, and I was in the hospital with mum, and I was recovering really fast even though it was just the first day after the surgery. and I looked in the mirror, at my bite and it looked so amazing and perfect.....but then.. dun dun duuuunnnnnn!! I realised, that they had forgotten to put the elastic bands on to stop me opening my mouth! and it felt like my jaws weren't properlly secured on, because there were no bands there so it felt like my jaws were going to fall off! It was horrible, and I was trying to hold my jaws to my face with my hands but it wasn't working, aaahhhh
HOW SCARYY!! haaa I think it's a sign of how much I keep thinking about this surgery, It's taking over my sleeping life as well as my waking life!
Not sure if you read my post on my first jaw surgery dream, but it's crazy how much this surgery takes over your brain! I woke up thinking my bite was perfect, but because I have been contemplating getting a genioplasty as well, my post-op surgery look in my dream left me with a massive chin! I could also open my mouth as wide as I can now, haha, wouldn't that be nice ! :-P

ReplyDeleteDamn girl, that's an awful dream. Between your band-less jaw and Dani's massive chin dream, I feel lucky that I haven't been burdened by the surgery night terrors. I slowed down on some of the blog reading. Reading too much about the recovery was beginning to make me feel anxious about the surgery.

thankyou so much for commenting everyone!!:) I do seem to be completely obsessed with this surgery lately, I'm thinking about it non stop, but not really in a bad way I'm mainly excited!It was a horrible dream though, and Dani oh nooo! that sounds really scary! the surgery will not leave you with a massive chin I promise, I can't waitt till I have a less massive one though!hahaa x
